Rice Krispies Review [PC]
Hey PC Video Games, sorry for the lack of new reviews for the last couple days. I wasn't that busy, I was just uninspired and lazy. Another reason is that I didn't play any new games. Pretty much all I played was Mount & Blade and Counter-Strike. One thing I did do was eat Rice Krispies. This review is of that.
Rice Krispies are a cereal original developed by Kelloggs Inc. in like 1955 or something. After the success of Cheerios and the failure of Cheerios II: Revenge of the Cheerios, Kelloggs wanted to make more money a lot. What new cereal was hip & bopping enough to appeal to the kids but also be old and crusty enough to make older folk want a spoonful? Rice Krispies was born.
The gimmick for this cereal is the noise that it makes when milk is poured onto it. Sometimes it makes a little snapping sound, sometimes it crackles, and most of the time it pops. I noticed that I had to put my head very close to my bowl to hear it most of the time, though.
Snap, Crackle, and Pop are also the main characters of the box. On the front, you can see them. It looks like they are really small because the bowl is really big compared to them. Their elfish ear suggest that they're elves which is ok.
One thing I noticed is that the rice krispletts don't have have much of a taste. They pretty much just taste like rice sorta. This was probably to appeal to the old people because things with a lot of flavor hurt their gums I think. It also helps ensure a timeless audience of new and old cereal eaters.
One thing about Rice Krispies is the picture on the back of the box. There's a kid eating a bowl of Rice Krispies and there's a glass of milk in front of her. I think it's weird that somebody would eat cereal and milk, and drink milk at the same time. Isn't there enough milk with the cereal?
Overall, if your gums hurt, you should not be eating anything, you idiot.
